Born on September 1, 1956, in Al-Ruhaybah, Syria, Ayman Zidan embarked on his artistic journey at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, graduating in 1981. His early career was rooted in theater, where he contributed significantly to national and mobile theater productions. Zidan’s transition to television and film marked the beginning of a prolific career that would see him become a household name across the Arab world. His performances in acclaimed television series such as Yawmiyat Jamil w Hanaa, Nihayat Rajul Shujae, and Ikhwat Al Turab have resonated deeply with audiences, earning him numerous accolades and solidifying his status as a leading figure in Arab entertainment.
